Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa

I was recently lucky enough to have an overnight stay at Armathwaite Hall - a luxury hotel in the Lake District. This hotel is owned by the Graves family and has stood on the shores of Bassenthwaite since the 11th century! It's got gorgeous rooms with stunning views, a luxurious spa, brasserie restaurant and formal restaurant as well as many many little nooks and crannies to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book!

September Primark Haul

I got a little bit spendy in Primark...accidentally. It happens to us all, right??

Hare Hill - Macclesfield

I'm a member of the National Trust and love nothing more than escaping to a property at the weekend and having a good old nosy around. Big or small, I find something interesting about each location! Hare Hill is a woodland park with a walled garden at its centre. Small yet perfectly formed.

Southport Flower Show 2017

I've just had the most amazing time at Southport Flower Show. It's the first time I've been to a flower show in my life and it was just incredible. From the beautiful flowers to the tasty food to the entertaining shows...it is the perfect day out for couples, families, young and old! The theme this year was "The Curious Garden" which led to whimsical creations all over the show!

Moor Street Night Market - Ormskirk

I've been trying to find more local events to attend with the hubs and saw that Ormskirk had organised a night market. The description of local ales, artisan gins and, of course, street food won us over so off we went to the first Moor Street Night Market. It may be the first, but I hope it's not the last. I can see that this would be really successful!

Peek into Mister Miyagi in Ormskirk

Like pan-Asian cuisine? Like tapas? You'll love Mister Miyagi in Ormskirk. The third branch of this north-west restaurant opened near me in April 2017 and I finally managed to visit!

With that in mind, I thought I'd share with you ten essentials for a Slimming World cupboard (or fridge...or freezer!)

Wine Tasting at Bents Garden Centre

Bents Garden Centre is one of my favourite places to visit - whether it's to browse the plants, eat delicious cake or even ogle their enormous Christmas displays - so when I heard about their wine tasting event in Reserve at Bents, I knew I had to get involved.

I attended an Old World vs New World wine tasting at Bents Garden Centre and discovered, to my surprise, that I preferred the Old World Wine! #Oldworldwine #winetasting #foodbloggers

My Pashley Poppy

Many years ago, a new love of my life entered my world. My big girl bike. Having not owned a bike for years, when Mr T first suggested buying one, I had some very specific colour requirements. Pink. Pink, pink, pink. With a basket. And streamers if at all possible.

The KP Lodges - Pocklington

Mr T and I were recently treated by his family to a weekend away in a luxury lodge. It's a bit of a family tradition to spend a weekend in a lodge (with hot tub!) around this time of year but this year's lodge blew us away!

Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio Tour Photo Diary London

You might have read my last post - The Ultimate Guide to Harry Potter's London for free - if not, I recommend that you do to find out how to be a Potterhead for the day, free of charge!

The reason I was in London in the first place was to visit the WB Studio Tour - something my sister and I have LONGED to do since it first opened.

We had the most incredible day entering the world of Harry Potter and I would highly recommend doing this tour if you're a fan and it's possible for you to do it. It was AMAZING.

The Ultimate Guide to Harry Potter in London - for FREE!

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll have recently seen a glut of Harry Potter related posts from my recent trip to London. Since the Studio Tour opened, my sister and I have planned to go and finally, finally we booked our tickets, deciding to make a couple of days out of it all.

However, post Christmas blues started to hit and we realised that while the studio tickets were already paid for (Christmas present) the rest of London could be an expensive trip. All hail the power of the internet. I was reading one of my favourite blogs - Emily Underworld when I noticed a post about a magical place to visit in London, perfect for Potter fans. I quickly started planning my entire trip around this find!

Where is this magical place I hear you ask? Read on...

How I save time when blogging

I see time and time again on Twitter bloggers saying that they're trying to balance work, play and blog and they feel like they're drowning. I'm not saying that I have the perfect balance...but I do have a few tricks that I use to claw back time when blogging. I view any time saved, even just minutes, as worthwhile as it all adds up!

These tips might not work for everyone...but they DO work for me.

My favourite Etsy stores

I LOVE Etsy. I could lose hours browsing through different stores and there's a few that I always go back to, knowing that I'm going to love whatever is there.

Items from these Etsy stores often find their way onto my birthday and Christmas lists and I'm determined that this year, I'm going to be more organised with birthdays so that I can get products from Etsy for other people.

Tori's Top Tips - Cleaning Candle Jars

I don't know about you, but I always get given candles as gifts and many of them come in jars. I love candles and the jars are often very pretty. However, once the candle has burned down and melted at the bottom of the jar, what do you do? I also get given lots of tealights and need holders for them.

This first "Tori's Top Tip" is how to remove the wax so that the jar can be reused for tealights and lone candles.

What I got for Christmas 2016

I LOVE reading these posts on blogs and wrote one last year *What I Got For Christmas 2015* so thought I'd also do one this year.

I've had an amazing Christmas, spent so much time with my family and Mr T's and thoroughly enjoyed all the festive films, food and fun!

As usual...I'm really not showing off about what I got, I have been spoiled ROTTEN this year and I am a very lucky girl. I appreciate it all so much.

The Bath and Bodyworks candle dupes from B&M Bargains

I've been seeing these candles all over social media recently but they first came to my attention in Autumn with the Radiant Fireside candle which I picked up on a whim. It's been in my bedroom ever since, scenting the air even without being lit. I was really impressed by its quality so when I started seeing them all over blogosphere, I wasn't surprised. I know I HAD to pick up some of their Winter collection!
