Doll White Teeth Whitening Strips

After taking part in a Twitter chat over Christmas, I was lucky enough to receive a 7 day course of teeth whitening strips from Doll White. I'm constantly on a quest to keep my teeth as white as possible so I was so excited to give these a go and I was NOT disappointed.

My Pandora Charms

I love Pandora and their bracelets and charms. I think they're great presents for people to remind them of special occasions in their lives. I'm lucky enough to have been given a bracelet a few years ago, which is nearly full and to receive a Pandora bangle for Christmas this year which I love!

MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet in Majestic

MUA are one of my favourite drugstore ranges, especially their £1 lipsticks which are my most reached for in my entire collection. This year was the year I finally tried a bright lip and this red gloss/paint has been lovely.

My experience with Slendertoxtea

Like most people, I am prone to over indulgence, especially around Christmas and this year was no exception. When it came to going back to work, I really struggled to fasten my trousers (alright, in the spirit of honesty, I couldn't fasten them AT ALL) and knew that action must be taken. I already follow Slimming World (see my Slimming World recipes) and had lost 2 stone before putting some back on so knew what I had to do. During a Twitter chat, Slendertoxtea gave me the opportunity to try their 14 day tea tox*. Having had a couple of friends already do teatoxes and love them, I was more than eager to take the chance and give it a go for a good kickstart to my weight loss journey.

Invogue Eyelashes in Glamourise #07

I recently picked up these eyelashes in Tesco for the princely sum of £1.74! I was drawn to them because of the transparent band on the lashes...they make my life SO much easier with my fat fingers and clumsy tendencies, haha!

Primark Lash and Nail Haul

I've previously blogged about my love for the Primark Natural Eyelashes, in fact my love for budget lashes in general (I'm terrible at taking care of eyelashes so refuse to spend a lot of money on them!)

Another of my great loves of the Primark Beauty Range are their false nails. I can't stand acrylics on my own nails, they just don't get on with my job etc, but every so often, I want long, glamorous nails and Primark is where I turn!

W7 Glitter Nail Polish Review

W7 is a brand I don't hear a lot about but one that I absolutely love! I see it a lot in discount stores such as B&M bargains as well as the Beauty Outlet store in Cheshire Oaks (W7 heaven!) The quality of the products is excellent and the price is virtually unbeatable. One of my favourite products from them is their glitter nail polishes.

Bloggers' Snail Mail and the lovely Kelsey

A LONG time ago now, I signed up to the Blogger Snail Mail by Gemma at Lipstick and Lashes. The idea being that you were assigned another blogger to get to know before sending a parcel (£5 limit) to them - hence the snail mail!

Bloggers' Snail Mail

I was assigned Kelsey from Sparkle, Shine and Glisten. I bit the bullet and sent Kelsey an email. Since then, we've been emailing pretty much non-stop with updates about each others, finding out our likes (sugar mainly!), reading blogs etc.

We ended up being so late sending our parcels to each other, missing the original deadline by weeks! I think we were just having so much fun emailing back and forth and getting to know each other. Despite a pretty big age gap and living on different continents, Kelsey and I had a lot in common! I've really enjoyed getting to know her, her blog and about American life! We emailed over Thanksgiving and it was so nice to ask questions and find out what it's like as it's something I've never experienced.

Eventually, we sent our parcels. I received mine first and was absolutely gobsmacked by what was in it! Kelsey had crammed it full of skincare samples which I am SO excited to use!

She also remembered my favourite American sweets from my honeymoon - peanut butter M&Ms - Oh my goodness, not eating those until I photographed them nearly killed me! I was a good wife and shared everything with Mr T...hope he appreciated the sacrifice!!

Kelsey also included a fact book which is just perfect for me. I'm known amongst my friends for random and weird facts announced in strange places. I'm definitely starting a random fact of the day text to them all using this book!

Also in the parcel was a Sally Hansen nail varnish in a gorgeous purple shade which I used for my Christmas nails.

I think that most special of all was the gorgeous letter that Kelsey sent. We've already decided to stay in touch and continue to email and snail mail!

Thanks for being my snail mail buddy Kelsey!

My most popular posts of 2015

I thought that as part of a 2015 review, I'd link to my most popular posts so far.

1. Outfits with a black tutu

By far my most popular post of the year was my outfits for a black tutu. Mr T bought me a tutu for my birthday and in the 8 weeks I waited for it to arrive, I constantly referred back to this post to make sure I knew how to wear it when it arrived!!

2. Pore Wars - Nivea Q10 Plus

I believe this was my 2nd post so it's no wonder it's up there in my most viewed. I cringe at the photography to be honest, but it's all part of my history in blogging :) I didn't repurchase this day cream in the end, I didn't see enough of a difference in my pores to bother and felt I still needed some added moisture. Still, it made me realise I needed a serum and facial oil in my life and THAT made the biggest difference! In all honesty, I think the best thing about this post is it's title...Pore Wars, ha!

My beauty autobiography still only consists of two parts, must work on part 3! This featured lots of iconic products from my childhood - a list of memories from my early days in the world of beauty.

4. The next three posts all have the same views so are joint 4th :)

Seems you lots are nosey and enjoyed reading some random facts about me!

Alphabet dating has been the series of blog posts that has seen the most engagement on Twitter - people doing tweets about them etc. I'm working on D-Z as we speak...trying to pin Mr T down to a date, haha!

I stand by these...I'm still jolly glad I'm over 30!

So those are my most popular posts of 2015.

Leave links to your most popular posts below and I'll be sure to visit :)

Alphabet Dating - D - Double Date

We really struggled to get our D date in with all the Christmas festivities! Add to that, all the D ideas we had come up with were very suited to fine, dry weather....it's been an issue!

In the end we decided to go with double date! Like the excellent (!) blogger that I am, I failed at photograph taking.

Some of my favourite blogs of 2015

This is the year that I started blogging and became part of this lovely community. I've enjoyed lots and lots of blogs this year, I follow a ridiculous amount on Bloglovin. I honestly love them all! The blogs below are people I've met on Twitter, interacted with and make sure I always read their posts. They're a handful of the blogs I love and I hope that you'll follow them and check them out too!

January Wishlist

While I while away the hours waiting for January's payday (why is this month 3 times as long as any other!) I thought I'd create a wishlist.

My New Year's Resolutions

I'm not really in the plan of making New Year's resolutions but thought I'd make some this year. I can't look back and say that 2015 was a good year. For many many reasons, it wasn't. But actually, those tough times have definitely made me stronger as a person and I'm not sure I would change any of them.
